Ndali Lodge

Ndali Lodge is an intimate luxury lodge set on the rim of Lake Nyinambuga in Uganda's Bunyaruguru Crater Lakes region. The property combines a traditional thatched main lodge with eight stone-and-thatch cottages, positioned across a large private estate overlooking the crater lake and surrounding landscape. The main building contains the reception, lounge, dining room, bar and veranda, creating a compact central setting for dining, socialising and small-group gatherings. The lodge has a distinctive English country-house character, with local stone, timber, traditional thatch, gardens and open verandas. Candlelight and storm lanterns are used at night, while the cottages use solar power. The dining experience is a significant part of the property, with meals served in the main dining area and on the veranda, while the surrounding gardens and lake views provide additional outdoor settings. For events, Ndali is best suited to small conferences, executive retreats, private celebrations, intimate weddings, private dining and residential group gatherings rather than large-scale conferences. Independent venue information specifically identifies the lodge as suitable for events and small conferences and notes wedding packages, while the property's own facilities provide the dining, lounge, veranda, gardens and recreational settings around which smaller events can be organised.
