Digital Life Building

We are Digital Life, Teesside University’s flagship centre for digital innovation, collaboration and events in the heart of Middlesbrough. Our state-of-the-art building provides a distinctive setting for conferences, exhibitions, awards ceremonies, corporate training, workshops, networking and public events. At the centre of our venue is a highly flexible 750-seat auditorium with retractable tiered seating, allowing us to transform the space for different event formats and requirements. We can also provide a flat-floor configuration for exhibitions and other adaptable events. Our facilities are designed around modern digital connectivity, with high-specification audio-visual equipment, hybrid streaming capabilities, professional sound and lighting, large displays and dedicated technical support. We also offer catering and hospitality packages, including buffet and three-course options and bar packages. Our event team can support your booking with event management, technical assistance, facilities staff and security. Alongside our main auditorium, we have the Discovery Zone, providing an open and versatile environment for networking, workshops, presentations and smaller exhibitions.
