Vavasour is Wood Hall's largest dedicated meeting and event space. It provides a flexible setting for conferences, meetings, presentations, private dining and award dinners, accommodating up to 100 guests. The room can also be divided into Manton and Denby, allowing organisers to create smaller, more flexible meeting environments.
Manton is one of two smaller rooms created by dividing the Vavasour. It provides a flexible environment for meetings, training sessions, presentations and smaller private events. Its maximum published theatre capacity is 50, making it suitable for medium-sized groups requiring a dedicated room within the country-house setting.
Denby is the second room formed from the divisible Vavasour suite and provides essentially the same capacity and configuration options as Manton. It is suitable for meetings, training, presentations, private dining and smaller corporate events. The room can also be used alongside Manton as part of a larger event programme.
Wharfedale is a smaller meeting and private-dining room designed for intimate corporate gatherings. With a maximum published capacity of 20, it is particularly appropriate for board meetings, executive discussions, private lunches and dinners. Its smaller scale provides a quieter alternative to Wood Hall's larger Vavasour meeting environment.
Linton is Wood Hall's smallest named meeting space and is designed for intimate meetings and private dining. It can accommodate up to 14 guests for dining and 10 in boardroom configuration. The room is particularly appropriate for executive meetings, confidential discussions and small private gatherings requiring a quiet country-house setting.
