The Greenwich Yacht Club

Set beside the River Thames in Greenwich, we provide a distinctive riverside setting through our clubhouse and function rooms. Greenwich Yacht Club was founded in 1908 by Thames watermen and river workers, and today we combine our long-standing boating heritage with an active social and events programme. Our riverside function rooms are available for weddings, conferences, parties and other private events, giving guests a setting with direct links to the river and the character of an established yacht club. We provide a bar and catering arrangements, while our clubhouse supports a range of social activities throughout the year. Our wider facilities include moorings, a pontoon, boat yard, workshop, engine shed, sail loft and storage facilities. We are a member-run, not-for-profit club and also operate as an RYA Training Centre. Our location at Peartree Way provides a distinctive alternative for events looking for a relaxed riverside environment in South East London.
