Steeped in centuries of legal and cultural history, our Inner Temple Hall provides a grand setting for important occasions in the heart of London. Located on the first floor of The Honourable Society of The Inner Temple, the Hall combines Georgian character with the facilities needed for modern events. Our oak-panelled walls, historic portraits, heraldic shields, stained-glass windows and silvered chandeliers create a distinctive atmosphere for formal dinners, receptions and celebrations. We can accommodate up to 400 guests for a standing reception, while seated arrangements can accommodate up to 276 guests depending on the layout. The Hall also works well for presentations, meetings, concerts, weddings and civil ceremonies. Natural lighting, adjustable lighting, comfort cooling, free Wi-Fi and full accessibility support the practical side of your event. Our adjoining rooms can also be incorporated into larger occasions, while our experienced events team and in-house catering help us deliver a well-organised experience from arrival through to the final departure.
Our principal event space is a grand Georgian-style hall with oak panelling, historic portraits, heraldic shields, stained glass and chandeliers. We accommodate up to 400 guests for receptions and up to 276 for seated events.
Our Parliament Chamber forms part of the interconnected first-floor suite and offers a refined setting for meetings, dining, presentations and receptions. It seats up to 154 guests and can connect with adjoining rooms.
Our Luncheon Room provides a bright first-floor setting overlooking the Garden. It connects directly with the Hall and can be used for receptions, dining, catering or breakout activities, accommodating up to 120 guests for receptions.
Our separate ante room provides an additional entrance into the Hall and helps larger groups move comfortably into the main event space. It can support guest flow and reception arrangements before the main occasion.
Our Gallery sits above the Hall and provides an elevated viewpoint across the room. It is particularly useful for photography and videography, offering a distinctive perspective of events taking place below.
