We are Stanley Arts, a distinctive South London arts and event venue based within the historic Grade II listed Stanley Halls complex. Our spaces combine heritage character with modern event, performance and technical facilities, giving organisers the flexibility to create anything from an intimate gathering to a large-scale celebration or performance. Our Art Nouveau Stanley Hall is our largest space, complemented by the Gallery, Assembly Hall, Society Room, Scene Dock, Living Room, Yard Bar and other facilities. We welcome weddings, parties, performances, exhibitions, meetings, workshops, rehearsals, filming and photography, as well as a wide range of cultural and community events. We can support events with our stage, lighting, sound and AV infrastructure, while our licensed bar, café, coworking areas and outdoor spaces provide additional options. We are also equipped for online events and streaming. Our team works with organisers to create flexible, personal events within our characterful and inclusive South London home.
We offer our magnificent Art Nouveau Stanley Hall for large-scale performances, weddings, concerts, receptions and social events. Our stage, balcony, lighting and flexible layouts make this our principal large-event space.
Our elegant Gallery sits alongside Stanley Hall and works particularly well for exhibitions, book launches, receptions and drinks. We provide a dedicated sound system, art-hanging system and a fully licensed bar.
Our charming upper hall provides a light and welcoming setting for rehearsals, workshops, intimate parties, small performances and gigs. It measures 40ft × 23ft and can be configured for different event requirements.
We provide this flexible café and coworking space within Stanley Arts for social activities, gatherings and daytime use. The capacity is 150 and dimensions is 80ft × 14ft.
Our Scene Dock is an atmospheric, industrial-style space suited to rehearsals, meetings and intimate performances. Its compact character makes it particularly useful for smaller creative projects and events.
We provide our Living Room as a smaller, more intimate space within Stanley Arts. The capacity is 30 and dimensions is 17ft × 13ft, making it appropriate for small-scale gatherings and activities.
We offer our bright Society Room for meetings, conferences, classes, rehearsals, catered events and smaller parties. With its lighting and sound rig, the room can also operate as a studio for music, theatre and dance.
Our Yard Bar is our outdoor summer space, available from May to September. We use this flexible area for outdoor gigs, stand-up comedy and other creative events, with a stage setup and fully licensed beer-garden-style bar.
