Set within a private 550-acre country estate on the Northumberland coast near Alnwick, we offer an award-winning countryside wedding and events venue where rustic character meets modern style. Our family-run venue provides an exclusive setting surrounded by rolling fields, woodland and beautiful Northumberland landscapes. We have thoughtfully restored historic farm buildings to create a collection of flexible spaces for ceremonies, wedding breakfasts, parties and celebrations. Our Threshing Hall provides a romantic setting for ceremonies, while The Great Barn offers a warm and characterful space for dining and evening celebrations, accommodating up to 160 guests during the day and up to 250 for an evening reception. Outside, our Courtyard and Front Lawn provide relaxed spaces for drinks and photographs, while Doxford Lake offers a peaceful backdrop for special moments and photography. We also provide extensive on-site accommodation across cottages, a bridal suite and glamping pods, allowing guests to stay together throughout their celebration. Alongside weddings, we welcome private parties and corporate retreats, supported by our dedicated events team.
