The Alnwick Playhouse is a long-established arts and community venue in the heart of Alnwick, Northumberland, where we have welcomed audiences and local groups for many years. Our venue combines a 260-seat auditorium with supporting spaces, a studio, meeting room, café, bar, gallery and library facilities. We provide a flexible setting for theatre, cinema, live music, comedy, dance, conferences, community events, workshops and private functions. Our auditorium is equipped to host performances and other organised events, while our café and bar provide convenient food and drink options for visitors and event guests. We also offer accessible facilities, hearing support and parking close to the building. We are proud to serve as a community-focused cultural centre, welcoming professional and amateur performers alongside local groups and visitors. Whether people join us for a performance, meeting, community activity or private event, our aim is to provide a welcoming, creative and adaptable environment for everyone.
