Toynbee Hall is a historic, Grade II listed venue in East London, where we bring together heritage architecture and modern facilities for a wide range of events. Established in 1884, our building offers a distinctive setting for conferences, meetings, training sessions, workshops, receptions and private celebrations. We provide two principal halls, three meeting rooms and flexible layouts to accommodate different event formats and group sizes. Our spaces feature natural light, period character, reliable Wi-Fi and access to audiovisual equipment, with step-free access available to our main event spaces. We can also support events with catering options, refreshments and event coordination services. Located at 28 Commercial Street, we are within easy reach of Aldgate East Underground station and Liverpool Street.
