Blackheath Halls

Located in the heart of Blackheath Village, Blackheath Halls is a historic arts, events and community venue serving South East London. Our building has brought people together since 1895 and today provides a flexible setting for performances, private celebrations, conferences, rehearsals, filming and community events. We offer two principal hire spaces: the impressive Great Hall and the Hearn Recital Room, each with flexible layouts and professional technical facilities. The Great Hall can accommodate up to 1,000 people standing, while the Hearn Recital Room provides a more intimate setting for up to 250 standing guests. Our facilities include stages, dressing rooms, bar facilities, public-address equipment, music stands, pianos and technical support. We also provide step-free access and accessible facilities. Being only a short walk from Blackheath Station makes us particularly convenient for guests travelling from across London. As part of Trinity Laban, we combine our historic character with a strong commitment to music, arts, learning and community.
