The Golden Hinde

Moored at St Mary Overie Dock beside the River Thames, The Golden Hinde provides a distinctive event setting aboard a full-scale reconstruction of a 16th-century galleon. Our historic ship offers an atmospheric environment for corporate events, private celebrations, weddings, meetings and creative productions. We work with trusted caterers, lighting specialists, florists and entertainers to create events tailored to each booking. For corporate occasions, we can provide a projector, screen, PA system and refreshments for meetings and workshops, while entertainment options include DJs, live performers, murder mystery games and our Enigma escape-room-style experience. Private hire gives guests exclusive access to the ship and its historic surroundings. We also welcome filming and photography, with the ship providing an authentic maritime setting for period dramas, fantasy productions, music videos and editorial or commercial shoots. Our location offers easy access from London Bridge and other central transport connections. As a working historic vessel and museum, events at The Golden Hinde also contribute towards the preservation of the ship and our educational programmes.
