Doxford Hall Hotel & Spa is our Georgian country house venue, set within ten acres of private grounds in the Northumberland countryside. Built in 1818, our hall combines period character, elegant interiors and modern facilities, creating a versatile setting for weddings, celebrations, private dining and business events. We have five function suites, allowing us to accommodate occasions ranging from intimate gatherings to larger conferences, receptions and wedding celebrations. Our Kennedy Suite provides our largest event space, while our outdoor terrace and landscaped grounds offer beautiful settings for ceremonies, drinks receptions and photographs. We also provide 41 bedrooms, allowing guests to stay with us as part of their event experience. Our facilities include the George Runciman Restaurant, Aqueous Spa, heated swimming pool, spa bath, sauna, steam room and fitness suite. We have ample free parking and good transport links, while our dedicated Weddings & Events team works with each organiser to create an event suited to their requirements.

Kennedy Suite

Our Kennedy Suite is our largest function space, with high ceilings, chandeliers and its own bar and cloakroom. We can host up to 200 guests in theatre or reception layout and 160 for a banquet.

George Runciman Suite

Our George Runciman Suite features an imposing fireplace and sumptuous period décor. We find it particularly suited to celebratory banquets and grand dinners, with space for up to 60 guests in banquet layout.

Library

Our Library combines period charm with comfortable leather armchairs, books and views across our terrace and surrounding fields. We use this flexible room for meetings, dining and business events.

Northumberland Room

Our Northumberland Room provides a grand setting with rich red décor, natural daylight, ornamental plasterwork and garden views. We can use the room for banquets, meetings, receptions and other gatherings.

Frank Henry Mason Room

Our Frank Henry Mason Room combines oak-panelled walls, sash windows overlooking the gardens and elegant period details. We use this intimate space for meetings and private dining for up to 20 guests.

Outdoor Terrace
