Whether you are planning a formal dinner, business meeting, networking reception, wedding celebration or filming project, we offer a choice of spaces to suit different occasions and event formats. Our principal rooms include the Great Hall, Great Chamber and Norfolk Cloister, complemented by smaller meeting spaces, the Chapel Cloister and several courtyards and gardens. The Great Chamber
Price on requestOur historic Tudor chamber has a distinctive ceiling, Jacobean fireplace and green silk wallpaper. It provides an elegant setting for dinners, concerts, presentations and special occasions.
The Norfolk Cloister
Price on requestOur 14th-century monastery cloister combines historic brickwork, a stone-flagged floor and a distinctive atmosphere. It is suitable for receptions, dinners, wine tastings, fashion shows and filming.
The Governors’ Room
Price on requestOur smaller wood-panelled room, decorated with Charterhouse prints, is suited to meetings, intimate receptions, breakout sessions and green-room use.
The Charterhouse Chapel
Price on requestOur light-filled historic Chapel features ornate Jacobean woodcarving and excellent acoustics. It is available for concerts, talks, special services and wedding blessings; weddings themselves cannot take place here.
The Chapel Cloister
Price on requestOur airy cloister has pale stone walls, a stone-flagged floor and large arched windows overlooking the Chapel garden and Charterhouse Square. It suits smaller receptions and dinners.
The Old Library
Price on requestOur historic Old Library retains visible traces of the building’s past, including scars from the Blitz. It is suited to meetings, dinners, receptions and use alongside other event spaces.
Sutton Room
Price on requestOur modern, light-filled room combines contemporary design with historic references. Equipped for business meetings, lectures and presentations, it can also be styled for dining.
Master’s Court

The Norfolk Garden
Price on requestOur peaceful English-style garden features a mature cherry tree, planted borders, arbours and secluded corners. It offers an intimate outdoor setting for receptions, filming and photoshoots.
Washhouse Court
Price on requestOur atmospheric courtyard combines original cobbles, monastic stonework and distinctive red-and-black Tudor brick. It provides a characterful backdrop for product launches, fashion events, filming and photography.
Charterhouse Square
Price on requestOur historic square offers lawns, mature trees, wild-meadow areas and planted beds in central London. It is available for exclusive or non-exclusive hire, subject to arrangements and restrictions.
