One Marylebone is a Grade I listed event venue in the heart of London, standing on its own island at 1 Marylebone Road. We have been hosting events since 2008, and our building, originally constructed in 1826 to the designs of Sir John Soane, has been beautifully refurbished while retaining its distinctive character. We offer a versatile collection of indoor and outdoor spaces, allowing us to accommodate intimate gatherings as well as large-scale celebrations. Our venue is suitable for weddings, corporate events, private parties, conferences, exhibitions, product launches, charity galas and many other occasions. We also provide in-house catering through One Dining and work with a carefully selected network of approved event suppliers. Our Soane Hall, Galleries, Vaults and Garden each provide a different setting, while our location opposite Great Portland Street Underground Station makes us particularly accessible. We can accommodate up to 800 guests for a standing event across our Galleries and Soane Hall.
Soane Hall is our largest event space and a spectacular setting for banquets and major celebrations. We welcome up to 320 seated guests or 500 standing, with 27-foot ceilings, striking mosaics and beautiful stained-glass windows.
Our Galleries form a striking double-height, U-shaped space on the first floor. We offer the East, West and South Galleries together or as a reception area before celebrations in Soane Hall, with natural daylight entering the East and West Galleries.
The Vaults give us two floors of event space, including a mezzanine overlooking the main floor. We can host up to 300 guests here, and the space is licensed until 3am, making it suitable for corporate events, product launches and parties.
Our Garden provides an outdoor setting along the west side of the building. We welcome intimate dinners, drinks parties, wedding receptions and company celebrations, with heaters in winter and partially open-air seating in summer.
Our sister venue, The Greenhouses, provides a separate event setting with intimate nooks and dining spaces. We welcome romantic evenings and corporate events, offering different areas suited to different occasions and styles.
