St Matthias Halls

At St Matthias Halls, we provide flexible and welcoming spaces for community activities, creative work, learning and performances in Stoke Newington, North London. Our facilities include a versatile ground-floor hall, an upstairs gallery and our historic church, giving organisers different settings for their activities. We welcome workshops, rehearsals, classes, talks, lectures, exhibitions and selected performances. Our main hall offers an open layout with tables, chairs, heating, lighting, Wi-Fi and kitchen facilities. We operate on a dry-hire basis, allowing organisers to arrange their own catering and bring additional equipment with prior approval. Our upstairs gallery provides a bright environment for creative activities, while our church offers distinctive architecture and excellent acoustics for concerts, recordings and performances. We aim to support individuals, community groups, educators and creative organisations seeking practical and characterful spaces.
