The Vaults Theatre

Located beneath Waterloo Station, The Vaults Theatre occupies a newly revamped railway tunnel within The Vaults' underground arts complex. Our theatre provides a flexible performance and event environment with a 7-metre-wide stage, a 40-metre-long tunnel and a choice of cabaret, sofa, row and beer-hall-style seating. We accommodate between 100 and 300 guests, depending on the event layout. Our facilities include a basic technical rig with speakers, sound desk and lighting, a dedicated dressing room for up to four people, audience toilets and a fully staffed bar. We also provide front-of-house and security staffing, Wi-Fi and a managed ticketing platform for productions. Subject to availability, we can provide rehearsal space during a hire period. The theatre is designed for cabaret, music, theatre, screenings, corporate meetings, parties, birthdays and other events. Most of our spaces and events are accessible to wheelchair users and step-free patrons.
