At The Courtyard Theatre, we provide a creative and versatile venue in the heart of Hoxton, Shoreditch, where artists, businesses and private organisers can bring their ideas to life. Housed in a former library building, our venue combines historic character with practical facilities for theatre, live music, exhibitions, film screenings and corporate events. We offer several spaces, including our Main House Theatre, Studio, White Room and iambic Bar, each serving different event needs. Our performance spaces are equipped with sound and lighting facilities, while our White Room provides a bright environment for rehearsals, workshops, exhibitions and private functions. We also offer recording and production services for organisers who want to capture their events. Whether you are planning a live performance, a networking gathering, a creative workshop or a private celebration, we can discuss suitable room layouts and hire arrangements. Our location near Hoxton Square also places us within a lively part of London known for its creative and cultural activity.
We offer our Main House Theatre for performances, panel talks, screenings and selected private events. Its adaptable layout and stage facilities allow organisers to plan different presentation and performance formats.
We provide our Studio for live music, intimate theatre productions, screenings and creative events. Its soundproofed performance environment and raised stage make it suitable for energetic shows and smaller-scale productions.
We offer our White Room as a bright, open space with large windows, mirrors and a dance floor. It suits rehearsals, dance activities, exhibitions, photography, networking and private or corporate functions.
We offer our iambic Bar for private parties, networking events and informal socials. Its welcoming atmosphere and drinks selection make it suitable for gatherings where guests can relax and enjoy conversation or intimate live music.
