Genesis Cinema

At Genesis Cinema, we offer a distinctive East London setting where film, arts and events come together in a historic independent cinema. Located on Mile End Road in Whitechapel, our venue features five screens of different sizes, allowing guests to organise private screenings, premieres, film festivals and presentations for groups ranging from intimate gatherings to large audiences. Beyond our cinema screens, we provide Bar Paragon, a flexible bar and performance space equipped with a stage, PA system and projector, as well as The Yard, an outdoor area suitable for seasonal celebrations and screenings. Our food and beverage options include bar service and catering packages, with arrangements that can be tailored to the event. We welcome corporate functions, birthday celebrations, live entertainment and community events, and our team provides technical and logistical support to help organisers plan their bookings. Our combination of cinema facilities, hospitality spaces and a long-standing connection to East London’s cultural life gives event organisers several options in one venue.
