Set within the grounds of the historic Bolton Abbey Estate in the Yorkshire Dales, The Tithe Barn is a beautifully restored 16th-century Grade II* listed building overlooking the Priory ruins, River Wharfe and Stepping Stones. Our 55-metre-long barn combines historic character with modern facilities, including flagstone floors, exposed timber, medieval chandeliers, atmospheric lighting and a contemporary bar. We provide a dramatic setting for civil ceremonies, wedding breakfasts, receptions and evening celebrations, with capacity for up to 200 guests for ceremonies and feasts and up to 300 guests for drinks and dancing. Our open kitchen features an indoor BBQ and rotisseries, allowing guests to experience the food preparation as part of the celebration. During warmer months, our outdoor terrace provides an alternative setting with views across the Priory ruins. We also provide a Funktion-One sound system, outdoor fire pits and a late-night licence until 1am, giving couples flexibility to continue their celebrations into the evening.
