Doncaster Little Theatre

Doncaster Little Theatre is an intimate community theatre located on King Street, just off East Laith Gate in central Doncaster. Created when members of the Little Theatre organisation converted a former warehouse into a purpose-built small theatre, opening the present venue in 1995. It has subsequently developed into a community arts venue hosting its own productions alongside visiting performers, companies and other events. The theatre's principal event facility is its 99-seat auditorium, making it particularly appropriate for small conferences, presentations, performances, screenings, talks, award ceremonies and private events where an intimate atmosphere is preferable to a large convention setting. The theatre explicitly states that it has hosted small parties, conferences and award-giving events in addition to theatrical activities. For corporate and non-theatrical hire, the venue provides internet access, audio-visual equipment, microphones, sound and projection equipment, a large projection screen, on-site technical assistance and a fully licensed bar. Theatre technicians can be made available to set up and operate equipment for events. Accessibility is another significant feature: wheelchair access is available to the box office, lounge, auditorium and toilets, while an induction loop supports hearing-aid users
