Henshaws Arts & Crafts Centre

Our Arts & Crafts Centre in Knaresborough brings creativity, community and inclusive experiences together in a welcoming setting. We provide a distinctive environment where art, crafts, music, horticulture and wellbeing activities can take place alongside events and gatherings. Our centre includes creative workshop areas, green spaces, a public café and accessible facilities, giving visitors a comfortable and inclusive experience. We also offer opportunities to hire our spaces for events, making the centre suitable for meetings, exhibitions, craft fairs, live music, fundraising activities and community occasions. Throughout the year, we host a varied programme of arts and crafts events, exhibitions and activities that bring our Artmakers, visitors and wider community together. Our facilities have also expanded to include a traditional yurt and a shepherd’s hut, providing additional creative spaces for learning, working and connecting. We aim to create an atmosphere where people can explore creativity, enjoy meaningful experiences and feel genuinely welcomed.
