At Best Western Premier Mount Pleasant Hotel, we offer a distinctive country-house setting where our guests can celebrate, meet, dine and stay under one roof. We have welcomed guests since 1938 and continue to combine our heritage with modern hospitality across our extensive Doncaster property. Set within approximately 100 acres of woodland and farmland, our hotel provides a peaceful Yorkshire setting while remaining conveniently accessible from major roads and Doncaster. We offer versatile function and conference spaces suitable for intimate meetings, private celebrations, weddings and larger corporate occasions. Our facilities include beautifully presented rooms, private bars, landscaped gardens, outdoor ceremony options, catering, complimentary Wi-Fi and extensive free parking. We also provide 90 bedrooms, including our distinctive spa suites, allowing guests to stay with us before or after their event. Our experienced events team works closely with organisers to create carefully planned occasions, from small family gatherings to substantial conferences and celebrations.
William James is our largest individual function room, designed with a bright marquee-style feel and large windows overlooking our gardens. We provide a private bar and generous patio, making it particularly suitable for weddings, parties, dinners, conferences and larger celebrations. We can also connect this room with our adjoining spaces when additional capacity is required.
Thomas Stocks is one of our most adaptable rooms, with a traditional character, its own dancefloor area and connections to both Alice Maud and William James. We use this flexibility for meetings, ceremonies and celebrations, while also opening it into neighbouring rooms whenever a larger event space is required.
Our Orangery is a contemporary event space featuring a skylight, glass wall and enclosed courtyard. We provide an integrated bar and dedicated dancefloor area, making this room particularly versatile for conferences, meetings, parties, wedding-related events and private celebrations where guests can also enjoy an outdoor area.
Alice Maud is our traditional and versatile function room, named after one of the hotel's founders. We provide a separate bar area and cosy fireplace, while its connection to Thomas Stocks allows us to create a substantially larger event space. We use it particularly for private parties, meetings and celebrations.
Our Study is one of our smallest private meeting spaces, making it suitable for highly focused discussions and intimate business meetings. We can configure it as a boardroom for up to six people, giving smaller groups a quiet and private environment within our hotel.
