Located in the heart of central London, RSA House combines Georgian architecture, historic character and contemporary event facilities across our versatile spaces. Our Grade II listed building dates from 1774 and retains many original features designed by the Adam brothers, giving us distinctive surroundings for corporate and private occasions. We host conferences, meetings, weddings, private parties, awards ceremonies, dinners, product launches, exhibitions, screenings and filming. Our experienced events team provides tailored support from planning through to delivery, while our in-house catering and audio-visual services help us create a seamless event experience. We offer spaces ranging from intimate meeting rooms to the impressive Great Room and our atmospheric subterranean Vaults. Our central location places us close to Charing Cross, Embankment, Covent Garden and the Strand, making us convenient for London-based and visiting guests. Whether clients require an individual room or exclusive use of the House, we can adapt our spaces and services around their event.
Our Great Room is our flagship historic event space, featuring a glass-domed ceiling and James Barry’s celebrated 18th-century paintings. We host conferences, dinners, awards ceremonies, weddings and drinks receptions here, with built-in AV and a permanent stage.
Our Benjamin Franklin Room combines elegant Georgian features with contemporary event facilities. The dramatic chandelier, original Adam fireplaces and large window overlooking the Strand make it particularly suitable for wedding ceremonies, receptions, dinners and event catering.
Our Vaults provide a distinctive underground setting with exposed 18th-century brickwork and four interconnected spaces. We use them for parties, weddings, product launches, press days, exhibitions, photography and film shoots, with a private entrance and facilities.
Our Durham Street Auditorium is a distinctive theatre built on an original stretch of 18th-century cobbled roadway beneath RSA House. We use this atmospheric space for screenings, conferences, launches, presentations and private cinema experiences.
Our Tavern Room provides a bright, modern setting with a polished wooden floor, original Georgian fireplace and natural daylight. We use it for receptions, smaller conferences, meetings, training sessions, private dining and smaller parties.
Our Prince Philip Room combines an original Adam ceiling with painted roundels and modern presentation technology. We use it for smaller conferences, meetings and private dining, and we can connect it with the Queen Elizabeth II Room for larger events.
Our Queen Elizabeth II Room features an original Adam ceiling and large windows that bring abundant daylight into the space. We use it for meetings, private dinners and catering alongside the adjoining Prince Philip Room.
Our Muse Bar provides an intimate cocktail-bar setting with its own private entrance. We use the space for drinks receptions and exclusive celebrations, and it can be combined with our adjoining Tavern Room to create a larger event setting.
Our Shipley Room provides an intimate setting for smaller meetings, with a classically decorated interior, Adam ceiling and round table. We can also use it as a supporting space, organiser’s office or VIP/green room for larger events.
Our Steps space is an informal amphitheatre within the Coffee House, giving us a relaxed setting for talks, workshops and networking. We can accommodate up to 30 people and provide a screen for presentations in this flexible space.
Our Tindale Room is our smallest dedicated meeting space, designed for intimate meetings, interviews and breakout discussions. When clients hire the entire House, we can also use this room as an organiser’s office or supporting workspace.
