We welcome organisers to Shoreditch Electric, a distinctive event venue housed in a former Victorian electricity-generating station in East London. Our historic industrial setting combines exposed brickwork, high ceilings and adaptable spaces, giving organisers a blank canvas to create events that reflect their own style and requirements. We offer six versatile spaces through our full-hire package, including two large event chambers, a 540 m² courtyard and smaller studios for rehearsals, hospitality, registration and breakout activities. Our Combustion Chamber provides an expansive, pillar-free setting for conferences, product launches and exhibitions, while the Generating Chamber retains the character of the building's industrial heritage. We provide accessible facilities, natural daylight in selected spaces, technical power and rigging provisions, and convenient loading access. As a dry-hire venue, we work with approved suppliers and require an event or production company to manage each booking. Our commercial venue-hire revenue supports the National Centre for Circus Arts, which is based in our building.

Combustion Chamber

We offer our largest hall for conferences, product launches, exhibitions and showrooms. Its pillar-free layout, high ceilings, natural daylight and blackout capability support flexible event production.

Generating Chamber

Our Generating Chamber preserves the building's industrial character with exposed red brick, natural light and a high roof. We accommodate performances, receptions, presentations and creative events.

Courtyard

We provide a large, self-contained outdoor area for receptions, food trucks, marquees and outdoor activities. Direct access to the Combustion Chamber and Lower Link helps connect indoor and outdoor events.

Creation Studio

Our purpose-built studio is suitable for circus, theatre and dance rehearsals. We also offer it as a breakout, smaller meeting or catering-preparation area, with natural light and blackout options.

Upper Link Studio

Price on request

Our Upper Link Studio offers a bright, flexible setting for receptions, meetings, press activities and breakout sessions. Large windows overlook the private courtyard, bringing natural light into the space.

Lower Link Studio

Price on request

We use our Lower Link Studio as a welcoming reception and hospitality area connecting the two main chambers. Its polished wooden floor and courtyard access also make it suitable for breakout activities.
