The Botanist Sunderland

We are The Botanist Sunderland, a vibrant bar and restaurant situated in Keel Square in the heart of Sunderland. Our venue combines botanical-inspired interiors, comfortable seating, a lively bar, restaurant space and an outdoor seating area to create an atmospheric setting for social occasions and celebrations. We offer private hire and flexible group-booking options for parties, birthdays, weddings, corporate gatherings, Christmas celebrations, family occasions and other special events. Our team provides freshly prepared food, botanical-inspired cocktails and a wide selection of drinks, while our regular live music programme adds entertainment and energy to the experience. Our outdoor area provides an alternative setting for guests who want to enjoy food, drinks and social gatherings outside. We are also dog friendly in our bar and outdoor areas and provide accessible entrances, exits and bathroom facilities. Our current official information confirms private hire is available, although we do not publish fixed room-by-room capacities for Sunderland.
