The Barbican Centre is our major arts, culture and business-events complex in the City of London, set within one of London's best-known Brutalist buildings. We offer a wide range of spaces, from our 1,943-seat Barbican Hall and 1,154-seat Barbican Theatre to intimate conference rooms, cinemas, exhibition areas and our tropical Conservatory. Our spaces can be adapted for conferences, AGMs, product launches, receptions, weddings, private events, filming, photography and creative productions. We provide professional technical support, event management, catering, Wi-Fi, audiovisual equipment and front-of-house services, with accessibility facilities available across many of our venues. Our Conservatory provides a distinctive setting surrounded by more than 1,500 species of tropical plants and trees, while our Frobisher conference floor provides flexible meeting rooms and auditoria. We also offer unusual settings including the Lakeside Room, Conservatory Terrace, foyers and other architectural spaces, allowing us to accommodate events ranging from small meetings to large conferences and receptions.
We provide our main concert and conference hall with tiered seating across three levels and a total capacity of 1,943. The space includes a fixed stage, professional PA, production lighting, projection facilities, backstage rooms and private foyers.
We offer our 1,154-seat theatre across four seating levels, with excellent sightlines and a flexible blank-canvas stage. It is suitable for conferences, award ceremonies, private events and productions.
We offer our 280-seat cinema with state-of-the-art projection, integrated lighting and sound, AV support and a spacious foyer with bar and cloakroom. It is suitable for presentations, corporate meetings and private screenings.
We provide one of our two Beech Street boutique cinemas, each with 153 seats and full technical resources. The cinemas are suitable for seminars, smaller conferences and private film screenings.
We provide the second Beech Street cinema with 147 fixed seats. It offers projection, sound, lighting, Wi-Fi and supporting catering space for smaller events.
We offer our tropical Conservatory as a distinctive event setting surrounded by more than 1,500 species of plants and trees. It accommodates up to 150 for a reception and is suitable for lunches, weddings, product launches and seasonal parties.
We provide our glass-roofed terrace overlooking the tropical planting. It accommodates up to 200 standing and can host receptions, dinners, wedding ceremonies and exhibitions. It can also combine with the Conservatory and Garden Room for larger events.
We offer our Garden Room alongside the Conservatory as an event and reception space with views across the City and Conservatory. Its colour-changing ceiling creates a flexible atmosphere for events and can support larger combined configurations.
We provide six flexible conference rooms on our dedicated fourth-floor conference level. The rooms can be combined using removable soundproof partitions, with configurations accommodating meetings and syndicate work from 10 to 170 theatre-style.
We provide this 245-seat raked auditorium with stage lighting, projection, sound and dedicated AV technical support. It is suitable for conferences, presentations and podcast recordings.
We offer this smaller raked auditorium with 153 seats plus a wheelchair position. It includes projection, PA, microphones, adaptable lighting and technical support for conferences and presentations.
We provide an intimate boardroom for up to 20 people, equipped with an 80-inch LCD screen, wireless presentation technology, Wi-Fi, charging points and refreshments.
We offer our modern Lakeside Room for meetings, briefings, networking, intimate dinners, celebrations and smaller conferences. It accommodates up to 120 for a drinks reception, 80 for seated dinners and 60 theatre-style.
We provide this exhibition and reception space with a dedicated Golden Lane entrance, registration facilities, cloakroom and flexible white-panelled walls. The capacity is up to 250 for receptions or exhibitions.
We provide our foyer areas as flexible spaces for registration, catering, exhibitions and receptions. They can connect directly with major event spaces and include PA, Wi-Fi, branding opportunities and access to supporting rooms.
