Consort Hotel & Urban Spa is a hotel and events venue located on Brampton Road in Thurcroft, Rotherham, South Yorkshire. We are positioned close to the M1 motorway, with the motorway less than nine minutes away by car and Rotherham town centre approximately 13 minutes away. This makes us a practical venue for events drawing attendees from Rotherham, Sheffield, Doncaster and the wider South Yorkshire region. We combine hotel accommodation, meeting facilities, a restaurant, bar and flexible event spaces. Our event facilities include the Morthern Room, Brampton Room and our large Consort Suite. The two smaller meeting rooms have identical published dimensions of 18 × 27 × 12 ft, while the Consort Suite is substantially larger at 54 × 90 × 12 ft. All three spaces have Wi-Fi, with projector and screen facilities also available. For weddings and larger celebrations, we can accommodate up to 350 guests. Our Consort Suite accommodates 50–250 guests for a wedding breakfast and up to 350 for an evening buffet. For more intimate occasions, our Brasserie provides an alternative setting for 25–70 diners and up to 100 evening guests. We also offer 27 bedrooms, including a bridal suite, making us well suited to residential wedding parties, business visitors and event guests.
The Consort Suite is the venue's principal large-scale event space and by far its largest published room. It is suitable for major weddings, receptions, private functions and larger corporate events. The venue states that it has natural daylight, Wi-Fi and projector/screen facilities, while its wedding offering includes a private bar and dance floor. The suite is also licensed for civil ceremonies and partnerships.
The Brampton Room is one of the hotel's two smaller business meeting rooms. It is designed for more focused meetings and smaller corporate gatherings rather than the large-scale functions accommodated by the Consort Suite. The hotel confirms Wi-Fi, projector/screen and natural daylight as facilities. The venue also specifically identifies the Brampton Room as a location where successful business meetings have been conducted.
