Sitwell Park Golf Club

Sitwell Park Golf Club is a historic golf and social venue situated on Shrogswood Road in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. The club's course was designed by the renowned golf architect Dr Alister MacKenzie, and the site dates back to 1913. Beyond golf, the recently refurbished clubhouse provides a flexible setting for dining, social functions, private celebrations and business-related events. The clubhouse contains several distinct spaces, including the Reresby Suite, MacKenzie Suite and 19th Hole, alongside a bar, restaurant and outdoor areas overlooking the golf course. The Reresby Suite is currently described by the club as a spacious 60-seat restaurant, while the MacKenzie Suite provides a smaller and more intimate setting with views across the course. The club has historically marketed its function facilities for weddings, birthdays, christenings, parties and other private functions. Older venue specifications report capacity of up to 170 covers when the main function-room floor space is fully utilised, while the club's wedding brochure gives the largest Sir Reresby Suite capacity as 70 daytime and 120 evening guests. Facilities include on-site catering, a bar, free Wi-Fi, Sky Sports, two full-size snooker tables, parking, accessible facilities and outdoor areas with panoramic golf-course views.
