The Grange

Grange Park Golf Club, now branded on its website as The Grange, is an 18-hole parkland golf venue in Kimberworth, Rotherham, South Yorkshire. The club combines a golf course, clubhouse and event facilities within a landscaped setting overlooking the surrounding Yorkshire countryside. Its event offering has expanded beyond golf, with the venue currently promoting weddings, christenings, private parties and celebrations of life. The clubhouse provides the principal indoor environment for functions, while the grounds offer an attractive backdrop for celebrations and photographs. The club's current private-party package includes room hire, a buffet for 100 guests, a private late-night bar, DJ and décor, demonstrating that the venue is equipped to provide complete event packages rather than simply room rental. Historical venue information provides a more specific capacity for the club's outdoor marquee, stating that it can accommodate up to 250 people. This is currently the strongest independently documented maximum capacity for the venue. The venue is therefore particularly appropriate for weddings, birthday parties, christenings, anniversaries, wakes/celebrations of life, private celebrations and golf-related corporate functions. Its combination of event-management support, catering, bar facilities, entertainment options, grounds and golf-course setting gives it a flexible proposition for social events.
