Alphabetti Theatre

Alphabetti Theatre is our independent producing theatre and creative venue in the heart of Newcastle upon Tyne. We create, produce and programme original work from exciting artists across the performing arts, while providing a welcoming space for theatre, comedy, music, dance and other creative activities. Our venue includes a main theatre, D'Addario Stage, rehearsal rooms, dressing room and green room, alongside our bar. We offer flexible spaces that can support performances, rehearsals, workshops, script readings, private events and other creative gatherings. Our main theatre accommodates up to 80 people and features thrust staging with raised audience seating on three sides. Our D'Addario Stage, located within our bar space, also accommodates up to 80 people standing and can be arranged for seating or standing events. We provide accessible facilities, including wheelchair spaces, captioning and audio-description equipment, with ramp access to the D'Addario Stage. We also offer private-hire options and licensed bar services for suitable events.
