We are The Botanist Newcastle, a distinctive bar and restaurant located in Monument Mall in the heart of Newcastle upon Tyne. Our venue extends across two floors and combines botanical-inspired interiors, a striking central tree feature, a mezzanine, restaurant, bar and rooftop garden overlooking the city. We provide flexible spaces for private and semi-private events, from intimate dining and drinks gatherings to larger celebrations and exclusive venue hire. Our team can accommodate birthdays, weddings, corporate gatherings, Christmas parties, group dining, family celebrations and other special occasions. We offer freshly prepared food, an extensive drinks menu and regular live music, creating an energetic atmosphere for memorable events. Our rooftop terrace provides an outdoor option for drinks and dining, while our private Wisteria Room offers a more intimate setting. For larger occasions, exclusive venue hire can accommodate up to 375 standing or 150 seated guests, subject to the final event layout and requirements.
