Shotton Grange

Shotton Grange is an exclusive-use wedding and events venue located on the Great North Road at Seaton Burn, just north of Newcastle upon Tyne. The venue occupies approximately six acres of Northumbrian countryside and combines a historic Georgian manor with a restored Coach House, landscaped gardens and extensive outdoor areas. The main Shotton Grange building is a Grade II listed property, with Historic England dating the house to around 1800 and noting its original use as a coaching inn on the Great North Road. The venue is particularly focused on weddings and private celebrations, but it also markets itself for corporate events and executive retreats. Its principal event space is the restored Coach House, which can accommodate up to 110 guests seated for daytime events and up to 200 for evening celebrations. For private hire, the venue currently advertises up to 110 seated guests or 200 for more informal entertaining. Shotton Grange provides several distinct areas across the property, including the Coach House, Walled Gardens, Front of the Manor, Cocktail Bar & Lounge, Drawing Room, Snug and Late Night Lounge. The venue offers in-house catering, a licensed bar, entertainment facilities, gardens, outdoor seating and firepits. It also provides accommodation on site, making it suitable for multi-day wedding experiences and residential private events.
