The Barn at Beal

The Barn at Beal is our family-run venue on the Northumberland coast, located at Beal Farm just off the causeway to Holy Island. We combine a relaxed restaurant, welcoming bar and flexible event spaces with spectacular views towards Lindisfarne, the Northumberland coastline, Bamburgh Castle and the Farne Islands. Our building has a rich history, having originally been constructed as a cart shed and barn in the early 19th century before being transformed into a coffee shop and restaurant. Today, we welcome guests for food, drinks, celebrations and private events. We create flexible experiences rather than fixed packages, allowing us to tailor events around what our guests are looking for. Our locally sourced food, friendly atmosphere and coastal setting make us suitable for everything from private dining and birthday celebrations to corporate gatherings and wedding receptions. We also offer exclusive use of our bar and dining areas for selected private occasions.
