Magna Events is a distinctive large-scale events and conference venue situated within the former Templeborough steelworks in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. We combine our industrial heritage with modern event infrastructure, creating an unusual setting for conferences, exhibitions, corporate functions, concerts, weddings, product launches and large public events. We provide approximately 4,000 m² of dedicated event space and are conveniently located close to the M1, Meadowhall and the Sheffield–Rotherham transport network. Our largest facility, the Big Hall, provides a highly flexible blank canvas capable of hosting up to 3,500 delegates theatre-style or up to 5,000 people standing. We also offer the Red Hall, Face of Steel, Fuel and Phoenix, together with a substantial suite of smaller conference and meeting rooms. This range enables us to accommodate everything from small 20-person meetings to major exhibitions and entertainment events. We provide Wi-Fi, AV and projection facilities, staging, catering, dedicated kitchens, event support, three-phase power, flexible seating, security, exhibition services and free on-site parking for approximately 400 cars. Our former steelworks environment also provides a distinctive backdrop for themed events and product launches. Our combination of scale, flexibility, industrial architecture and professional event support makes us one of the most versatile large-event venues in the Rotherham and Sheffield area.
The Big Hall is Magna's flagship event space and its largest indoor venue. Covering approximately 1,760 m² in the current capacity specification, it provides a highly flexible industrial setting for conferences, exhibitions, concerts, weddings, banquets and large celebrations, with direct vehicle access, staging, dancefloor facilities, catering and built-in PA.
The Red Hall is a dramatic event space positioned near Magna's main entrance and characterised by its multicoloured lighting installation. It is suited to receptions, presentation dinners, product launches, conferences, exhibitions and themed parties. The room provides flexible seating, staging, AV, café facilities, Wi-Fi and underfloor heating.
Face of Steel is Magna's most distinctive industrial event environment, combining a multi-storey steelworks structure with multimedia screens, elevated walkways and large-scale audiovisual infrastructure. It is particularly suitable for product launches, presentations, exhibitions, concerts, parties and corporate events where a dramatic industrial backdrop is desired.
Fuel is a glass-fronted event and reception space with its own bar and views over the Magna visitor attraction. It is designed for smaller events requiring a distinctive atmosphere and can operate alongside the Big Hall, Face of Steel, Red Hall or conference rooms as a reception, VIP or hospitality area.
The Phoenix is a flexible event space positioned behind the Red Hall. It can be hired independently or combined with the Red Hall and other Magna spaces. Its configuration supports conferences, dinners, drinks receptions, intimate parties, meetings and concerts, with AV, staging, three-phase power and Wi-Fi available.
