We are Brathay Hall, a historic estate set within 360 acres of mature woodland and rolling pasture at the head of Windermere in the Lake District. As the Ambleside base of Brathay Trust, we combine a peaceful countryside setting with flexible facilities for meetings, conferences, weddings, celebrations and group experiences. We offer a range of rooms within our main hall, equipped with modern audio-visual facilities, alongside accommodation, dining facilities and outdoor spaces. Our estate provides an inspiring setting for organisations looking for space to meet, think, develop and work together. We also welcome private events, family gatherings and celebrations when our facilities are available for hire. For weddings, our estate provides an exclusive-use setting with accommodation and event spaces, while our outdoor areas offer opportunities for activities and group experiences. By choosing us for your event, you also support the work of Brathay Trust, a charity dedicated to helping children and young people.
