Carlton Park Hotel is a hotel and conference/event venue located on Moorgate Road in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. The Carlton Park Suite was historically the hotel's principal large function suite. Older venue documentation describes it as suitable for larger weddings, receptions and corporate functions, with an adjoining Atrium. Historical wedding material records receptions of up to 300, while conference directories have listed the room at 250 theatre capacity.
The Regency Suite was historically one of the hotel's principal function suites and was paired with the Conservatory for larger celebrations. Historical wedding information records the Regency Suite as accommodating up to 150 for civil ceremonies, while older conference information gives a theatre capacity of around 120. It featured a private bar and dance-floor area.
The Park Suite was historically one of Carlton Park Hotel's function rooms. Older conference information lists a theatre capacity of 100, with classroom and banquet configurations also available. Historical wedding material lists the suite as suitable for civil ceremonies for up to 100 guests.
The Conservatory was historically associated with the Regency Suite and provided an additional function environment for weddings and private events. Historical material lists a civil-ceremony capacity of 80, while conference documentation gives a theatre capacity of 60.
The Atrium acts as a bright, glass-roofed pre-function welcome area at Carlton Park Hotel Rotherham. It connects directly with the larger Carlton Park Suite, serving as a popular space for wedding arrival drinks, ceremony aisle walks, and corporate conference breakout lunches.
