The Piece Hall is our historic and distinctive event destination in the heart of Halifax, West Yorkshire. We occupy an extraordinary Georgian courtyard surrounded by historic buildings, independent businesses, cafés, restaurants and bars. Our setting gives event organisers a characterful backdrop that combines heritage architecture with a vibrant contemporary atmosphere. We welcome visitors throughout the year and host an extensive programme of cultural and entertainment events. Our courtyard has become particularly well known for major live music performances, while our wider site provides opportunities for markets, community activities, food and drink experiences and other special occasions. We work with event partners to bring large-scale public events and performances to our unique surroundings. Alongside our events programme, we offer places to eat, drink, shop and explore, making the Piece Hall more than simply an event venue. We continue to celebrate our heritage while providing a memorable setting for modern events and experiences.
