Viaduct Theatre, Dean Clough, Halifax

Set beneath the historic Dean Clough Mills in central Halifax, our Viaduct Theatre provides a distinctive subterranean setting for performances, business events and private functions. Our raw, post-industrial surroundings create a memorable atmosphere, while our flexible configurations allow us to accommodate different types of events. We offer amphitheatre seating for up to 355 people, a traverse configuration for up to 300 and an end-on arrangement for up to 150. Our facilities support theatre productions, conferences, training events, product launches, weddings, parties, concerts, film screenings and filming. We also provide access to supporting spaces including the Traverse Theatre Bar and Rehearsal Suite, which can be combined with the theatre for larger or more varied events. Our location within Dean Clough gives guests access to additional restaurants, cafés, event spaces, parking and a hotel on site. We provide an unusual combination of historic industrial character, professional event facilities and a central Halifax location.
