Jesmond Dene House is an independent boutique hotel and event venue situated beside the wooded Jesmond Dene valley in Newcastle upon Tyne. For corporate users, Jesmond Dene House offers three smaller meeting rooms, with capacities ranging from very small meetings to approximately 30 people, while the Great Hall can accommodate larger meetings, presentations and exhibitions. The hotel also provides private dining, terraces, gardens, catering and accommodation. The Secret Garden, introduced as the hotel's newer outdoor event space, provides another distinctive option, with a bar and views towards Jesmond Dene and the Armstrong Waterfall. The John Dobson Room is a private dining and meeting room named after Newcastle architect John Dobson. It can seat up to 30 people and has the advantage of its own private terrace overlooking Jesmond Dene. The room is suitable for intimate dining, business meetings, celebrations and smaller wedding-related events.
The Norman Shaw Room is a bright private room located on the main floor of Jesmond Dene House. It has views towards the hotel's garden and is designed for smaller private gatherings, dining occasions and meetings. Its 20-person capacity makes it appropriate for intimate corporate or social events rather than large receptions.
The Frank Rich Room is the smallest of Jesmond Dene House's three private indoor rooms. It overlooks the trees of Jesmond Dene and is particularly suited to small business meetings, private dinners and intimate events. Its compact scale provides a quieter setting for groups of up to approximately 12 people.
The Secret Garden is Jesmond Dene House's dedicated outdoor event space, surrounded by greenery and overlooking the wooded Dene. It includes a fully stocked garden bar and can be used for ceremonies, drinks receptions, garden parties, birthdays, company parties and BBQs. The space provides an atmospheric outdoor alternative to the indoor rooms.
