Northumbria University provides a diverse collection of conference and event spaces across our Newcastle City Campus, combining modern purpose-built facilities with distinctive historic university buildings. Our venues range from intimate meeting and teaching rooms to large lecture theatres, exhibition spaces and major event facilities, allowing us to accommodate events of many different sizes and formats. City Campus East provides tiered lecture theatres for 200, 250 and 400 guests, together with smaller Harvard lecture theatres, exhibition areas, breakout spaces and catering facilities. Our Sport Central facility offers a much larger setting for conferences, exhibitions, formal dinners, sporting events and major functions. We also provide elegant spaces such as the Great Hall and flexible corporate facilities including the Hedley Suite. Our venues are supported by audiovisual and IT facilities, Wi-Fi, catering, event management and hospitality services. With our central Newcastle location and excellent public transport connections, we provide a convenient and versatile setting for conferences, corporate events, academic gatherings, exhibitions and celebrations.
Our 400-seat lecture theatre provides a modern, tiered setting for large conferences, lectures, presentations and academic events, supported by professional audiovisual facilities and excellent delegate visibility.
Our 250-seat lecture theatre offers a flexible, purpose-built environment for conferences, lectures, seminars and presentations, combining comfortable tiered seating with modern audiovisual and presentation facilities.
Our 200-seat lecture theatre provides a professional setting for conferences, lectures, training sessions and presentations, with tiered seating and modern technology supporting engaging delegate experiences.
Our Sport Central Arena provides a major event environment accommodating up to 3,000 guests. We host conferences, exhibitions, sporting events, dinners, graduations and large-scale corporate functions.
Our Harvard Lecture Theatre accommodates up to 100 guests in a modern academic environment, making it suitable for smaller conferences, seminars, presentations, lectures and corporate training.
Our 60-seat Harvard Lecture Theatre provides a compact and professional environment for meetings, seminars, presentations, lectures and training sessions, supported by modern university facilities and technology.
Our Great Hall provides an elegant university setting for conferences, formal dinners, receptions, lectures and special occasions. We accommodate events of up to 150 guests within a distinctive setting.
Our multi-purpose Domain venue can be transformed from a professional, tiered conference layout to a banquet hall or a high-energy live performance space.
