Eureka! The National Children's Museum

Eureka! The National Children's Museum is a major family attraction and events venue located on Discovery Road in Halifax, West Yorkshire. Situated immediately beside Halifax railway station, the museum occupies a highly accessible location for visitors and corporate delegates travelling from across Yorkshire and beyond. Established as a children's museum, Eureka! contains interactive exhibitions and learning environments but also provides spaces that can be hired for meetings, corporate functions, private events and special occasions. Unlike a conventional hotel or conference centre, Eureka! offers an experiential event environment. Organisers can make use of meeting and event facilities alongside the museum's interactive galleries, creating opportunities for team-building, networking, educational activities and themed events. This makes the venue particularly distinctive for organisations looking for something different from a standard meeting room. The venue can accommodate both very small meetings and substantially larger gatherings, with its largest event configurations capable of accommodating several hundred people. Catering, audiovisual equipment and other event-support services can be incorporated into bookings. Eureka! is especially suitable for corporate away days, conferences, workshops, team-building activities, networking, private parties, educational events and family-focused functions. Its central Halifax location, proximity to public transport and unusual museum setting are major advantages.
