Centurion Bar, Newcastle

Centurion Bar is our historic venue located within Newcastle Central Station, combining distinctive Victorian architecture with a lively modern bar atmosphere. Our building dates back to 1893, when it was created as a luxurious first-class waiting lounge and refreshment room, and we retain many of its original decorative features, including ornate tiling and a striking historic interior. We provide a welcoming setting for drinks, meals, live music, sports viewing and social occasions, with regular events taking place throughout the week. Our facilities include large screens for live football and other sporting events, Wi-Fi, food and drinks, and dedicated private lounges for smaller groups. We also host private parties and themed events, making us suitable for birthdays, celebrations, brunches and informal gatherings. Our central location directly within Newcastle Central Station makes us particularly convenient for visitors arriving by rail or Metro, while our historic surroundings provide a distinctive backdrop for an event or night out.
