Hull City Hall

Hull City Hall is a historic and versatile events venue located in Queen Victoria Square in the centre of Hull. For more than a century it has hosted a broad range of cultural, entertainment, civic and private events. Its current venue-hire programme positions it as a flexible location for conferences, exhibitions, weddings, civil partnerships, community receptions, live performances and other private functions. The venue combines a large principal hall with smaller function and hospitality spaces, allowing organisers to select an environment according to the scale and character of their event. The Main Hall accommodates up to 1,200 people seated or 1,800 standing, making it appropriate for major concerts, conferences, ceremonies, exhibitions and large receptions. The Mortimer Suite can accommodate up to 300 people, while the Victoria Bar can accommodate up to 150 people, or 80 in theatre-style seating. Hull City Hall is also an approved wedding venue. The Mortimer Suite offers a more intimate setting for ceremonies and receptions, while the Victoria Bar provides a smaller period-style setting overlooking Queen Victoria Square. The venue provides tailored catering for weddings and events. Its accessibility provision includes wheelchair spaces, lift access to stalls and circle levels, accessible toilets and an infrared hearing-assistance system. Assistance dogs are welcome, and the venue operates a Personal Assistance Scheme.
