At The Deep, we offer one of Hull's most distinctive event settings, combining an award-winning aquarium with dedicated business and meeting facilities. We give our guests the opportunity to hold memorable corporate events, weddings, dinners, celebrations and meetings surrounded by spectacular marine life and the Humber waterfront. Our experienced events team works closely with organisers to create events around their individual requirements, whether they need an intimate meeting space or a larger reception and dining environment. We provide a range of facilities including complimentary Wi-Fi, onsite parking, catering, audiovisual equipment, air conditioning and dedicated event support. Our aquarium galleries create an especially unusual backdrop for evening receptions, gala dinners, product launches and awards ceremonies. Alongside our attraction spaces, we operate the adjacent Deep Business Centre, where smaller groups can meet in professional rooms equipped with modern presentation and communication technology. We aim to make every event distinctive, well organised and memorable.
Our Oceans Gallery provides one of our most impressive event environments, surrounding guests with the atmosphere of our aquarium. We can accommodate large receptions and dinners here, making the gallery particularly suitable for awards, gala dinners, corporate celebrations and memorable evening functions.
Our Observatory gives guests a distinctive event setting within The Deep, combining flexible event space with the atmosphere of our aquarium. We can use this room for receptions, meetings, dinners and corporate gatherings, particularly when organisers want something more unusual than a conventional conference venue.
Our Twilight Zone provides an atmospheric setting for evening events, receptions and private functions. We can accommodate up to 80 guests for banquet arrangements and up to 100 for receptions, giving organisers an unusual aquarium environment for dinners and celebrations.
Our Education Suite Room 1 provides a flexible space for educational, training and group activities. We can accommodate larger classroom and theatre-style groups, making the room useful for workshops, training sessions, seminars and organised group programmes connected with The Deep.
Our Education Suite Room 2 offers the same flexible group-learning environment as our adjoining education space. We can use the room for training, workshops, seminars and educational gatherings, with layouts adapted to suit the organiser's requirements and the number of participants.
Our Education Suite Room 3 is a slightly smaller flexible education and meeting space. We can accommodate up to 50 guests in theatre-style arrangements and use the room for workshops, training, seminars, presentations and other organised group activities.
