The Alnwick Garden is a large contemporary garden attraction situated next to Alnwick Castle in Northumberland. Created from a previously neglected historic landscape, the Garden has developed into one of the region's best-known visitor attractions, incorporating formal gardens, water features, the Grand Cascade, ornamental planting, the Poison Garden, Bamboo Labyrinth and the internationally recognised Treehouse. Beyond its visitor operation, The Alnwick Garden provides a distinctive setting for weddings, corporate functions, private celebrations and other events. Its combination of landscaped outdoor spaces and hospitality facilities allows organisers to create events that move between indoor dining and outdoor garden environments. The Treehouse is the Garden's most distinctive event space. Built within the woodland canopy, it provides a memorable setting for private dining, celebrations, weddings and corporate entertaining, with capacity of up to approximately 120 guests depending on configuration. The Garden also offers other areas for bespoke events, including the Orangerie and various garden locations. Outdoor spaces can provide opportunities for ceremonies, drinks receptions, photographs, team-building activities and experiential corporate events.
The Treehouse is a spectacular, rustic treetop structure built from sustainable wood on the edge of a mature woodland. Connected by suspended rope bridges and illuminated by magical fairy lights, it features a massive roaring log fire at its center, offering an incredibly cozy ambiance for intimate wedding receptions and corporate dinners.
Designed by Sir Michael Hopkins, The Pavilion is a bright, contemporary event hall boasting a striking glass wall design and a sweeping wooden grid-shell ceiling. It overlooks the famous Grand Cascade waterfall and can host large-scale banquets, awards nights, and charity galas with a direct backdrop of the formal botanical lawns.
Lilidorei serves as an immersive, highly vibrant outdoor event space centered around the world's largest playground structure. Complete with elven and goblin clan houses, this venue is tailor-made for hosting large-scale family fun days, children's birthday parties, festive seasonal market setups, and evening light trail installations.
