The Biscuit Factory is where we bring together Edinburgh’s creative community, events and heritage under one roof. We are based in a former Crawfords Biscuits warehouse built in 1947, and we have retained much of the building’s original character while giving the space a new creative purpose. Today, 32 creative businesses call our building home, helping us create an environment that feels active, distinctive and connected to Edinburgh’s cultural scene. We offer flexible spaces for everything from intimate meetings and private celebrations to large exhibitions, festivals, weddings and live events. Our Factory Floor can welcome up to 450 guests, while our Atrium provides a naturally lit space for up to 120 people. We can provide dry-hire space, or work with organisers to deliver a fully coordinated event. With our bars, PA system, loading facilities, café and flexible event spaces, we give organisers the freedom to shape our spaces around their own event.

Factory Floor

We offer our Factory Floor as our largest event space, accommodating up to 450 guests. We can divide the space into two distinctive areas, making it suitable for exhibitions, festivals, parties, live music and larger events.

Atrium

Our Atrium is an open top-floor space filled with natural daylight and can accommodate up to 120 guests. We also provide a built-in bar, lighting options and goods-lift access for larger furniture and equipment.

Crawfords Meeting Room

We provide our Crawfords Meeting Room for smaller meetings and team sessions, comfortably accommodating up to 12 people in boardroom style. We also have a wall-mounted screen and flexible furniture arrangements.
