John McIntyre Conference Centre

We provide our Pentland space as a major presentation and conference area. Our theatre space can accommodate approximately 300 people, making it suitable for plenary sessions, large presentations and conferences.

Our Prestonfield space provides a dedicated conference environment within the centre. We use it for presentations, meetings and larger organised sessions, with previous University events using it as the main lecture space.

Our Boardroom provides a smaller, quieter environment for meetings and focused discussions. We can use it for committees, private meetings, speaker preparation or other activities requiring a more intimate setting.

We provide Boardroom 2 as an additional smaller meeting space. It gives organisers another quiet environment for committees, discussions, meetings or other supporting activities during conferences.

We offer Holyrood as one of our dedicated rooms within the conference centre. We can use this space for smaller meetings, breakout activities and supporting sessions during larger conferences.

We provide Salisbury as one of our conference rooms within the centre. Our room can be incorporated into a wider event programme for meetings, breakout sessions and smaller presentations.

We offer Duddingston as one of our dedicated meeting and conference rooms. We use our smaller spaces to support breakout sessions, meetings and other activities running alongside larger events.

We use Pentland West as one section of our Pentland conference space. It provides a flexible environment that can support presentations, meetings, breakout activities and other conference requirements.

We provide Pentland East as the second section of our Pentland space. We can use it alongside Pentland West or independently for sessions, meetings and supporting conference activities.
