City Art Centre

City Art Centre is where we bring Scotland's visual and applied arts into the heart of Edinburgh. We are located directly opposite Waverley Station, making us particularly convenient for visitors, delegates and event guests arriving in the city. Our building is home to a nationally recognised collection of Scottish art, alongside a changing programme covering historic and contemporary painting, photography, craft and other visual arts. We also open our spaces for private and professional occasions, including meetings, seminars, workshops, receptions, dinners and product launches. Our five-storey building gives organisers a distinctive cultural setting, while our gallery environment provides an atmosphere that is very different from a conventional conference or function venue. We welcome visitors through our exhibitions and events, while our café and gift shop add further facilities on the ground floor.
