Dating from 1910, Edinburgh Corn Exchange combines its Grade A-listed architectural character with flexible facilities for conferences, celebrations and large-scale entertainment. Our Exchange provides the main blank-canvas setting for major conferences, exhibitions, concerts and gala dinners, while the Baron Suite offers a more intimate environment for weddings, receptions and private events. The Concourse provides a central area for registration, networking and drinks receptions, while the Bistro Cottage gives smaller events a more relaxed setting with private outdoor decking. The Newmarket Suite provides a bright conference and training environment, and the wider venue can operate as a seamless multi-room event or be hired exclusively. Each principal event space benefits from its own entrance, cloakroom and private bar, while natural daylight, catering, AV support and technical facilities help us accommodate a broad range of events.

The Exchange

Our largest event space is a flexible blank canvas for major conferences, exhibitions, concerts and gala dinners. It accommodates up to 3,000 standing, 1,500 theatre, 1,000 seated dining and 850 dinner dance.

Baron Suite

The Baron Suite combines original wooden flooring with a star-cloth surround and programmable coloured LED roof lighting. It accommodates up to 600 standing, 400 theatre and 350 seated dining.

Concourse

Our Concourse acts as the central reception and networking hub for larger events. It accommodates up to 650 standing or 100 seated, making it particularly useful for registration, networking and drinks receptions.

Bistro Cottage

The Bistro Cottage combines three interconnecting rooms with private outdoor decking. It provides a relaxed setting for smaller weddings, workshops, private parties and BBQs, with capacity for 150 standing or 80 seated.

Newmarket Suite

Our Newmarket Suite is a bright conference and training space with large windows and high ceilings. It accommodates up to 120 standing, 110 theatre and 120 seated dining, making it suited to meetings and seminars.
