The Octagon

We provide a versatile community and conference facility at The Octagon on Walker Street in Hull. Operated by Goodwin Development Trust, our building brings together meeting, conference, community and business facilities in a convenient location close to Hull city centre. We provide spaces suitable for larger conferences as well as smaller meetings, training sessions and group activities, giving organisations flexibility when planning different types of events. Our facilities have historically included a purpose-built conference room alongside several smaller meeting rooms, while the building also accommodates community organisations, services and activities. Accessibility is an important part of our facility, with step-free entrances, automatic doors, passenger lifts and accessible toilets throughout the building. We also have parking facilities and a community café within the building. Whether you are organising a conference, meeting, training session, community programme or other organised gathering, The Octagon provides a practical and accessible setting for groups in Hull.
